Coffee is good here. I enjoy it, but it is not my go to on the block. Their snacks are good and the staff is friendly.
You won't be disappointed stopping in for a nip of espresso -

We stopped at Zaza for an after-brunch espresso drink (Emma's Country Kitchen across the street is a cant miss for pancakes) and were pretty pleased with the espresso macchiato and latte we had. The patio was open, and it felt so European to sit outside in the warm sunshine on a cook day and sip an espresso.
We didn't try any food (see: Emma's country kitchen), but the service was warm and friendly and based on our experiences in Italy, felt very authentic. We'll be back! -

The food is of a high quality and the decor is comfortable. Unfortunately, the service while efficient is cold and you get the feeling that your order is a hassle.

I came here for a coffee one night and took a seat, after 15 min the barista aprouches me and tells me I have to leave because I was wearing to much perfume and she couldn't stand it. Seems like a joke but it wasn't, I didn't overeacte , I just paid my bill and left.
Shame on you people to have the guts to say that to costumers!!!! -

This cafe is in the former Timothy's Coffee location at 320 Danforth Ave. They have updated the furniture and made the room more open and inviting. Repairs have been made to the restrooms (yay!). Seems like an effort is being made to update and it's a work in progress. Brewed coffee is good. Americano was meh. Food menu is very limited, mostly desserts. Service needs to improve significantly. The young males were attentive and friendly and delivered coffee to the table because it wasn't yet finished brewing upon ordering (that's good). Unfortunately, most often there are 2 young women behind the counter who are cool, aloof, and unwelcoming in their presentation, especially the one with red hair who is consistently rude. They actually once turned their backs on the customer while pouring coffee and leaned in to each other talking quietly giving the appearance that they were mocking the customer like some adolescent mean girls. And one time "Red", i kid you not, was picking at her nails and didn't make eye contact with me as if to say I was interrupting something important by placing my order. Hopefully, management is on top of training staff better as it's early days otherwise there's much better coffee in the hood to consider where you won't be greeted with animosity bordering on hostility.
